Boracay Beach Philippines
Spend 3 days and 2 nights on the famous Boracay Island, located in the Visayas region of the Philippines. Here on Boracay you will experience what millions of tours come to this island for each year, Boracay Beach. Yes, you will walk along this beautiful white shoreline that stretches out some 2.5 miles, and is covered with some of the softest and whitest sand you have ever seen. Experience swimming in cool crystal clear waters that offer one a very relaxing and fun time.
Boracay is one of the Philippine Islands top tourism destinations, and after you visit Boracay Beach Philippines you will also see why. Boracay is also known for it's water sports, you can do just about anything here, enjoy kite boarding or windsurfing on Bulabog Beach, or do some jet skiing, or maybe try some para-sailing, or better yet, rent a small sail boat and watch the Boracay sunset from the ocean, now that's the "Spirit of Boracay".
Now if you love adventure then you will really enjoy your 3 days and 2 nights on Palawan Island. Here you can really experience nature at is very best, since Palawan is considered to be the "Last Frontier" here in the Philippines, due to it's vastly underdeveloped land, you can experience walking through dense jungle forest, see many different types of wild animals, Monkey's, Monitor Lizards, and many different species of birds including the Horn-bill.
Palawan Philippines also has some other really cool attractions, like the Puerto Princesa Underground River near Sabang Palawan, here you can take a boat and tour the inside of the worlds longest underground river, which goes on for several miles before it empties into the sea. Once inside the cave the tour guide will talk you through all of the interesting features that this world heritage site has to offer, there is no doubt you will be impressed.
There are many other wonderful attractions in Palawan, like the "Hot Springs" where you can swim in water that comes from the natural springs, and the water is warm, between 85 and 90 degrees, this is a very relaxing attraction, and one that you should not miss. If you would like to take on some night adventure then why not visit the Iwahig River for some firefly watching, this is fun and also quite educational, you will get into a small wooden canoe with a tour guide, who will guide you down the river, as you pass the over thirty different mangrove trees you will see thousands of fireflies as they light up the Mangrove trees, it looks so cool.
There is also the tour of Puerto Princesa City, which is really nice, you will notice how clean this city is, and how friendly the Filipino people are as you walk around the Bay Walk area, you will see children playing, food vendors selling different foods.
One of our favorite Philippines destinations is Bohol, here you can experience so many different things, and all within a very small radius. Bohol, like many other places in the Philippines has some really beautiful white beaches, that just like Boracay have powder soft white sand, surrounded by crystal clear waters. However, what makes Bohol more exciting in our opinion is that here you can enjoy a couple of hours on the beach getting a nice tan, an then you can head to a more mountainous region where you can enjoy the famous Bohol Chocolate Hills, or head on out to Mag-Aso Falls where you can swim in fresh mountain water.
Bohol is also where you can experience seeing one of the smallest primates in the world, the Philippines Tarsier, see this fantastic creature in it's natural environment, learn about the foods they need to eat to survive and also learn about what we as concerned environmentalist can do to help protect this endangered species.
As you take in your Bohol Countryside Tour you will also have the chance to see many historical churches, which there are many on the island of Bohol.
Cebu City, Philippines
Cebu is known as the "Queen City of the South", one of the oldest cities in the Philippines, and it's also where Magellan arrived when he first came to the Philippine Islands. Here in Cebu you will really see the history of come alive as you learn about the first Chinese to arrive here and begin there trading practices. As you take a tour of Cebu City you will visit many historical sites and attractions like, Magellan's Cross, a small chapel now sits where it is said that Magellan himself placed the cross here when he arrived in Cebu.
Be amazed as you visit the historical Fort San Pedro, one of the oldest Spanish forts in the Philippines, here you will take a guided tour through the museum and also the grounds. There is also the Chinese Temple, with beautiful landscaped grounds and fascinating history to learn about.
